SCORES A RUN OF WEEK-LONG EVENTS SURROUNDING COLLEGE WORLD SERIES 2011

Omaha, NE - June 18 - 29, 2011
- A lineup of free baseball clinics (held before the CWS), a rousing Baseball Breakfast with guest speaker, hospitality areas, free give-a-ways, Bible studies and hospital visits by recognized baseball players will fill the bases from June 18 - 29, 2011.

Free Baseball Clinics for boys and girls between the ages of 6-14 will be held with no pre-registration required. Come along to enjoy observing these clinics instructed by Bob Herold, former major league player and current head coach for the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Chris Gadsden, former Creighton University player and currently University of Nebraska at Omaha assistant baseball coach.

Throughout the College World Series, 9th-Inning will be active in the Omaha community, incorporating volunteer CWS players and coaches in several events and utilizing area volunteers to organize these events. In the years to come, this ministry is expecting and planning to expand their services at the College World Series Championships with the areas of ministry affecting life changing decisions for God.

9th-INNING HOSTS BREAKFAST FEATURING COLLEGE WORLD SERIES PLAYERS AND COACHES AT HOLIDAY INN CENTRAL
Omaha, NE - June 18, 2011 - Open to the public, featured speaker will be former professional baseball player
Ed Hearn and includes College World Series and Professional players and coaches. Special videos will be shown and Merlyn Klaus, former WOWT TV sportscaster, will be the Master of Ceremony.

Sponsors are encouraged to sponsor tables for kids, students, friends and neighbors…focus is outreach.

The Holiday Inn Central in Omaha, NE at 72nd and Grover will host the breakfast on Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 8am to 10am.

HOSPITAL VISITATION
Omaha, NE - June 2011 -
Hospital visits will be a huge hit with children and youth patients in local hospitals planned at UNMC, as professional and College World Series players visit them and autograph baseball cards, baseballs and life-changing pamphlets.

9TH-INNING SPONSORS HOSPITALITY TENTS TO PASS OUT BOTTLED WATER, AND SPORTS MAGAZINES AROUND STADIUM AREA
Omaha, NE - June 2011 - During the College World Series week of June 18 – 29, 2011, the 9th Inning Ministry will give out a whopping 50,000 bottles of free ice-cold water at the Baseball Breakfast, baseball clinics, shuttle bus lots going to the stadium, and various places around Omaha including the Old Market at various times during the week.

Over 750 volunteers participate each year handing out cold water.
